Welcome to the ranch! We look forward to your visit, and want you to have a fun and memorable experience getting to know the wonderful world of alpacas. Here's a few tips to help you plan your day.

Tour Tips

  • Our gate will open 10 minutes before your tour time. Limited parking is available inside the gate. Additional parking is available on the south side of Rancho Vista Road, just outside our gate at the sidewalk. Please do not park on the right side of the driveway as there is no sidewalk and is a safety hazard.
  • Our septic system cannot accommodate the number of visitors to the ranch, but we do provide an outdoor porta potty for our guests. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.  Public restrooms are available at Ronald Reagan Sports Park on Rancho Vista and Margarita Road.
  • Please be on time! We cannot hold up the tour out of consideration for guests that arrive in a timely fashion.
  • Please leave your pets comfortably at home. Unfamiliar animals stress our alpacas.
  • The majority of the tour is spent on relatively flat ground and is accessible by wheelchairs and walkers. We have some gravel in the parking area, but the rest is sidewalks and asphalt. Some of our animals are on a lower portion of the property and we will walk down a gravel driveway to see them. Please let your tour guide know if you need assistance getting to the lower portion, or you are welcome to remain in the main area for that part of the tour.
  • Dress appropriately for the weather; closed-toed shoes are recommended but not necessary. Hats, sunscreen and light clothing are recommended for the warmer days.
  • Bring your camera! There will be lots of opportunities for photo ops.
  • Parents, keep a close eye on your young children. They get very excited (which we love) but running frightens our alpacas. Children may not climb fences or throw rocks--we want to keep everyone safe, both humans and animals.
  • Most importantly, have fun! But beware--alpacas may just steal your heart!
