Peruvian Presidio

Crown Royal's Sire

Peruvian Presidio is perhaps the best producing son of Accoyo Caligula (white), and his dam, Senna, (fawn) is a Peruvian from the Solocotta region. He has now won “Get of Sire” seven times. His crias have over 80 color championships so far, and he’s only just 8 years of age!  Breeding are now closed, but we have his crias and females bred to him for sale.

Presidio was born at Xanadu and his resume includes winning the blue ribbon for fleece at AOBA in 1999 (the highest score of all huacaya fleeces at the show), the blue ribbon for fleece at Estes Park in 2000 and first place in the AOBA Handspinners Competition in 2001. He has incomparable luster and fleece character, along with heavy bone and reproductive capacity. Presidio has that rare combination of deep amplitude crimp, density and staple length (he sheared over 11.9 pounds of fleece at fourth shearing with a 7.9 pound blanket). He now has over 100 crias on the ground in nearly all colors; including black, rose grey and chocolate brown, and all carry his strong genotype .
