Stylish from head to toe, Vivica is one of those truly attractive alpacas that constantly turns heads. She has an elegant presence, a gorgeous head and a luminous bay black fleece that you can't wait to sink your hands into.
We have always appreciated Vivica's amazing softness, as it is rare to find such a low micron fiber on a black animal. And so did Judge Sara Jane Maclennan at AlpacaFest West 2009, awarding Vivica the Color Championship over all black females at the show, commenting on her extreme fineness for a black alpaca at the age of three.
Vivica is sired by Crescent Moon's Valentino, a bay black knockout who not only took the Reserve Black Male Champion at the 2003 International Alpaca Odyssey, but has sired offspring that to date have taken ten Color/Reserve Championships and numerous Blue Ribbons. Valentino's first 4 histograms came in at 20 microns or below, so it's not surprising that his daughter Vivica is as fine-fleeced as she is. If this weren't enough, Vivica's Grandsire is none other than the legendary Danko, the phenomenal silver grey herdsire well known throughout the alpaca industry as a producer of champions.
Vivica would make an outstanding contribution to any black breeding program, fledgling or seasoned alike. This kind of quality at such a competitive price is hard to find, so call us today to make an appointment to meet Vivica and get your hands on her exquisite fiber.
