Crown Royal's Tiara is just one of those alpacas that stand out among her peers. She has a presence that won't quit--always standing proud and erect, ears up and observant. Her conformation is striking and she has been blessed with a sweet and gentle nature.
If that weren't enough, Tiara has an amazing fleece, as well. Deep, rich brown color and extremely soft for brown, Tiara's histogram clocked in at 18 microns her first shear. She inherited her dam, Gabrielle's high frequency crimp, and her sire's (Crescent Moon's Crown Royal) extreme density, a combination that created the quality and magic that is Tiara.
Tiara has only been to one show, AlpacaFest West 2009, but walked away with two awards. We were most proud of her for being awarded First Place in her class of Yearling Brown Females. We are confident that Tiara will continue to be successful in her show career.
Tiara will be bred to Crescent Moon's Icon as soon as she is of age, and we can't wait to see the results of this breeding. Tiara's Caligula genetics paired with Icon's Legacy heritage will, no doubt, produce another award-winning offspring, and we have great hopes for a truly elite colored fleece from this pairing. We look forward to a bright future for this little princess!
