This little yearling male has a bright, white fleece, good conformation and bite and a gentle disposition. He is the son of Kahuna's King Kazan, a Kahuna son who did well in the show ring. Kahuna has many show winning offspring on the ground and now resides in San Diego County, California.
On his dam's side, Solomon brings to the table several Snowmass animals; Snowmass Enchanter and Snowmass Peruvian Sunstarlight. With his Peruvian/Accoyo heritage and beautiful fleece, Solomon has potential herdsire qualities, even at this young age. His dam is a show winner herself, taking home the Reserve Fawn Championship for fleece and the 2005 AlpacaMania.
We were blown away by Solomon's fleece at shearing--buttery soft, glistening white and amazingly soft hand. We'll know more specifics about his fineness when his histogram comes back, but we strongly suspect it's in the 17-18 micron range at second shear. He is currently being boarded at the Hacienda, but his owners are willing to consider selling him. Please feel free to call or email for pricing and/or fiber samples or additional photos.
