Compact and nicely proportioned, Jewell is an attractive alpaca, and her darling head only adds to her appeal. Her fleece is bright and soft, with such high frequency to the crimp it's hardly visible unless you place it on a dark background--very much like a vicuna fleece. It spun up into a yarn so soft it's almost like butter.

We bred Jewell to Crown Royal and her first cria arrived on April 11, 2009. This beautiful beige female has a fleece we had hoped for--extremely curly and very soft with exceptional density. This little female, that we named Pretty N Pink, marched into her very first show and took the Color Championship over all beige and light fawn females at AlpacaFest West, 2009. We were ecstatic, and weren't suprised when this little cutie sold immediately.
