When Gatsby came to our farm for shearing, we knew right away that we wanted to use him as a herdsire to service several females in our herd. His ultra-fine fleece and captivating presence made us stand up and take notice.
Gatsby is the son of Patagonia's Neruda, the exotic colored male who commanded $205,000 at the 2007 Futurity Show and Sale. He possesses a balanced, typey conformation associated with his sire's compact body style, a beautiful head and dense bone structure. Gatsby also boasts Danko and Shackleton in his background graced with grey, brown and black.
He has done well in the show ring, bringing home many firsts and seconds in halter, fleece, conformation and spin-offs. We're excited to see what he produces bred our gals--we expect wonderful things from this outstanding male.
